Terms of Use

Last updated: October 29, 2026

These Terms form an agreement between you and YourRealm (“YourRealm,” “we,” or “us”) for our websites, apps, Rae conversations, support-circle features, and related services. Accepting these Terms in the service or purchasing a subscription means you agree to them. If you do not agree, do not create an account or use the app.

01The agreement

Our Privacy Policy explains our information practices. The Subscription Terms apply to paid plans and trials. Specific offer terms shown before purchase are part of your agreement. Mandatory consumer rights and applicable app-store rules remain in effect. A purchase-specific promise controls over a conflicting general provision.

These Terms include recurring-payment rules, limits on liability, and an individual arbitration agreement with a 30-day opt-out. Please read those sections carefully. Permission to record calls, share with your circle, or process sensitive information is requested separately; accepting these Terms is not a substitute for those permissions.

02Who can use YourRealm

You must be at least 18 and able to enter a binding agreement. Use YourRealm only where its features are offered and lawful. Provide accurate information needed for your account and keep access credentials and devices secure. Tell us promptly about unauthorized access. You are responsible for activity you authorize, not for losses that the law makes our responsibility.

Supporting another adult does not give you authority to accept their permissions, impersonate them, or control their information. Each person decides whether to connect and share. Do not use another person’s invitation or account without permission.

03What Rae does—and its limits

Rae is an AI-powered conversational service, not a person. It can help with everyday questions and tasks, but may misunderstand, omit information, or give incorrect or inappropriate responses. Check important information before acting and use your own judgment. An answer may not be unique and does not establish ownership of another person’s content.

YourRealm is not a medical device, healthcare service, emergency service, professional adviser, or continuous safety monitor. It does not diagnose, treat, prescribe, or guarantee anyone’s safety. Do not rely on Rae for medical, legal, financial, or other professional advice, or for hazardous or safety-critical tasks. Seek an appropriately qualified professional. In an emergency, contact local emergency services directly; do not wait for Rae, a reminder, or someone in your circle.

Check-ins and missed-check-in notices describe activity in the app, not a medical assessment. Calls and notifications can fail or arrive late because of connectivity, device settings, outages, or other causes. We do not promise that a supporter will see a notification or respond. Maintain other ways to reach people you rely on.

04Invitations, sharing, and calls

Send invitations only to intended recipients. Possession of an invitation link is not independent identity verification. Review the names and sharing direction before accepting. Postponing an invitation does not begin sharing.

When you approve sharing, YourRealm can automatically send the agreed check-ins, brief call updates, help requests, and missed-check-in notices without asking you to approve each routine update. Full recordings, transcripts, and private saved memory are not given to your circle. You can stop sharing or remove a connection in Settings. You cannot make someone forget or erase a copy they already received.

A support request is not a dispatch of emergency assistance. Tapping “I need help” can start a Rae call; it does not by itself contact emergency services. A normal phone call you initiate uses your device and carrier, whose charges and rules apply. Adding a phone number alone does not initiate a call or send an invitation.

05Memory, recording, and beta participation

Rae can save useful facts and structured profile information as part of a conversation. You can ask it to correct or forget information. You remain responsible for checking consequential details, including names, contact information, and schedules.

During beta, we offer recording of complete call audio, transcripts, conversation records, and diagnostic logs to improve the experience and fix bugs. Recording begins only after the specific notice and your permission. Authorized staff or contracted reviewers may examine those records for the stated purposes. You can withdraw recording permission or request deletion, including through profile or account deletion, as described in the Privacy Policy. Permission to record does not give us a right to publish your conversations.

Obtain the consent of anyone else who participates in a recorded conversation and avoid recording bystanders. Do not show sensitive third-party material through camera or screen sharing without authority. An optional local diagnostic recording or export is separate from service-side beta recording.

Early-access and beta features can change, break, or be withdrawn. Participation is voluntary; feedback does not obligate us to implement a suggestion. A future app under a new store account or bundle may require a new download and account setup. We will explain a migration before it happens and will not silently transfer permissions to a different operator.

06Your content and our permission to use it

You retain rights you have in the information and content you provide. You grant YourRealm a nonexclusive, worldwide, royalty-free permission to process, store, reproduce, transmit, and adapt it as necessary to provide the service, follow your sharing instructions, and perform the support, security, and improvement uses described in the Privacy Policy and your permissions. Providers acting for us may exercise those rights only for the relevant service.

This permission is limited by your privacy choices and retention rules. It does not authorize public advertising use of private calls, sale of personal information, or perpetual retention after deletion. It ends when the relevant content is deleted, except for narrowly retained legal records and genuinely de-identified information. Recipients have only the access needed for your authorized sharing; they receive no general right to redistribute your private information.

You must have the rights and permissions necessary for content you submit. Suggestions about our product may be used without compensation, but this does not convert your personal information or call records into unrestricted feedback.

07Permitted and prohibited use

We grant a limited, nonexclusive, nontransferable right to use YourRealm for lawful personal use and support of people who agree to participate, subject to these Terms and applicable store rules. We and our licensors retain rights in our software, designs, names, marks, and other service content.

Do not use the service for fraud, harassment, coercion, stalking, impersonation, unlawful discrimination, exploitation, or infringement of privacy or intellectual-property rights. Do not upload malicious code, access another person’s data without permission, evade security controls, interfere with operations, resell access without permission, or systematically extract private data. Do not reverse engineer software except where the law expressly permits it. Do not use Rae to make high-impact eligibility decisions about another person.

Report abuse or suspected infringement to support@yourrealm.com. We may investigate, remove content, restrict a connection, or suspend access when reasonably necessary to protect users, comply with law, or enforce these Terms. Our Copyright Policy explains infringement reports.

08Subscriptions and other charges

Free or invited access does not automatically become paid. We charge only after you select an offer and authorize payment. Stripe web and mobile-web purchases, Apple in-app purchases, and Google Play purchases are covered by the Subscription Terms when offered. Plans may renew automatically; the checkout states the price, billing period, trial terms, and cancellation method.

Paying for someone’s plan does not give you access to their calls, memory, or circle activity. Those permissions remain separate. You are responsible for carrier and internet charges. We do not promise a particular feature, launch date, or lifetime price unless the offer expressly says so.

09Third parties and mobile distribution

External sites, AI infrastructure, app stores, and payment services may have their own terms. We remain responsible for our own obligations and cannot disclaim duties that law places on us. A third-party outage may affect availability.

For Apple-distributed apps, Apple’s Standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement governs the software license unless a different license is expressly supplied in the store. These Terms govern the YourRealm service and do not replace mandatory Apple terms. Apple is not responsible for providing YourRealm support; contact us for service and content claims. Applicable Apple warranty and purchase-refund rights remain available.

Google Play and Apple purchase terms govern their respective billing transactions and store accounts. TestFlight and other test distributions may expire and are subject to their distribution terms. No store or platform is represented as endorsing YourRealm. You must comply with applicable export controls and sanctions; do not use the service where prohibited.

10Service changes and ending access

You can stop using YourRealm and request deletion at any time. Removing the app is different from deleting an account or canceling a subscription. We may suspend or end access for a material violation, legal requirement, or credible security or safety risk. Where practical, we give notice and an opportunity to resolve the issue; urgent protective action may be immediate.

We may change or discontinue features. For a material reduction in a paid service during a prepaid period, we provide an appropriate remedy, which may include continued access, a replacement accepted by you, or a prorated refund for the unused affected period, subject to applicable store processes. We will not use a change in these Terms to remove accrued rights.

After termination, permissions to use the service end. Privacy and deletion commitments, accrued payment obligations, ownership provisions, lawful liability limits, and dispute provisions survive as needed. Suspension does not prevent you from exercising privacy rights.

11Warranties

Except for express commitments we make and rights that cannot be excluded by law, the service is provided “as is” and “as available.” To the extent permitted by law, we disclaim implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and noninfringement. We do not warrant uninterrupted service, error-free AI responses, or a particular outcome. These disclaimers do not exclude statutory consumer guarantees or our express privacy and payment obligations.

12Liability

To the extent permitted by law, neither party is liable to the other for indirect or consequential loss, lost profits, or business interruption arising from the service where that loss was not reasonably foreseeable. YourRealm’s aggregate liability arising from these Terms or the service is limited to the greater of $100 or the amount you paid for YourRealm in the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim.

These limits do not apply to fraud, willful misconduct, gross negligence, death or personal injury where liability cannot lawfully be limited, statutory privacy remedies that cannot be waived, or other non-excludable liability. They do not limit an applicable refund obligation. If your jurisdiction does not permit a limitation, it applies only to the extent lawful.

13Third-party claims

To the extent permitted by law, you are responsible for reasonable losses and costs awarded against us in a third-party claim caused by your intentional unlawful misuse, knowing infringement, or material breach of these Terms. This does not cover claims caused by our conduct or ordinary good-faith use of Rae. We will promptly notify you, allow a reasonable opportunity to participate in the defense, and not agree to a settlement that imposes an obligation on you without your consent.

14Resolving disputes

Contact support@yourrealm.com with a description of a dispute and the relief you seek. We will try in good faith to resolve it informally for 30 days. Either party may act sooner to preserve a filing deadline or seek urgent relief. Nothing prevents a complaint to a regulator.

Unless you opt out below or applicable law prohibits it, unresolved disputes about these Terms or YourRealm will be resolved by binding individual arbitration administered by JAMS under its applicable consumer rules and minimum consumer standards. The Federal Arbitration Act governs this agreement to arbitrate. A court decides whether this arbitration agreement exists or is enforceable; an arbitrator decides the merits of a dispute within its scope. The arbitrator may award the same individual remedies a court could award and must give a reasoned written decision.

You may choose a remote hearing or a hearing reasonably near your residence. We pay arbitration fees beyond the consumer filing fee required by JAMS, and will pay that fee too if necessary for you to bring the claim. We do not seek our attorney fees unless applicable law independently permits them for a frivolous or bad-faith claim. Either party may bring an eligible individual case in small-claims court. Requests for public injunctive relief that cannot lawfully be arbitrated remain available in court.

ARBITRATION GENERALLY REPLACES A COURT TRIAL AND JURY. EACH PARTY AGREES TO BRING COVERED CLAIMS INDIVIDUALLY, NOT AS A CLASS OR REPRESENTATIVE ACTION, TO THE EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW. This does not prevent coordinated representation or the exercise of nonwaivable rights. If the class-action restriction is unenforceable for a claim, that claim proceeds in court; valid individual claims remain subject to arbitration. If JAMS cannot administer a dispute under this agreement and the parties cannot agree on another administrator, the dispute proceeds in court.

You may opt out of arbitration and the associated class restriction within 30 days after first accepting these Terms by emailing support@yourrealm.com with “Arbitration opt-out,” your name, and the email or other identifier associated with your account. No explanation or physical letter is required. Opting out does not affect access to the service. A later change to arbitration terms does not revoke a valid opt-out; you may reject a material arbitration change within 30 days of notice.

15Governing law and court proceedings

Delaware law governs these Terms, except that the Federal Arbitration Act governs arbitration and mandatory protections of your place of residence continue to apply. For disputes properly heard in court, the parties consent to state or federal courts in Delaware, unless applicable consumer law gives you the right to bring a claim in your home jurisdiction. Small-claims rights and nonwaivable remedies are preserved.

16Changes, notices, and general terms

We provide at least 30 days’ notice of a material change to these Terms by email, an in-app notice, or another prominent method, unless a law or urgent security reason requires faster action. New terms apply prospectively. Where express acceptance is required, we ask for it. You can stop using the service before a change takes effect and retain applicable refund and privacy rights.

We may transfer this agreement with the relevant business only if the successor assumes its obligations; any transfer of personal information follows the Privacy Policy. You may not transfer your account without our permission. Failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver. An invalid provision is limited or severed without invalidating the remainder, subject to the arbitration section. These Terms and the incorporated purchase terms form the entire agreement for their subject matter. Neither party is the other’s agent or partner. No third party receives enforcement rights except where applicable store terms expressly provide them.
